In partnership with Veterans Village of San Diego, Thomas Jefferson School of Law Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic will offer free bankruptcy services to San Diego Veterans. The Veterans Clinic will pre-screen eligible veterans and refer qualified applicants to a law firm.

Legal Aid is available to low income individuals & disadvantaged communities for a variety of legal problems, including consumer, family disputes, welfare and health benefits, immigration and poverty law issues such as landlord/tenant disputes, disability support and family benefits payments. Federal Poverty Income Guidelines determine eligibility for free legal services.

The Dispute Resolution Program offers free mediation services to residents of North San Diego County. Types of mediation disputes include: domestic violence, landlord/tenant, neighborhood/community, consumer/merchant, parent/teen, business related, and homeowner association disputes. The Legal Advice Clinic for Low Income Clients offers a 20 minute consultation for $20.00 for legal advice only, not representation or paperwork completion.
