Program includes a 30-day domestic violence emergency shelter and three 18-month transitional living programs for women and children. Services include case management, counseling, legal assistance, career development, financial literacy, and children’s services. Transitions program aids survivors in obtaining permanent housing and gaining financial independence. An on-site Shelter School, staffed by the San Diego Unified School District, is available for children ages 5-17.

Offers a 30-day emergency shelter program for men and women 18 years and older, with or without children. Transitional housing program is designed to assist families toward independent living. Other services include counseling, legal services, referral information to community support services, and individualized case management.
Community Resource Center – Libre Domestic Violence Program

Provides a 45- to 60-day domestic violence shelter for women and their children (up to age 18 years for boys and girls). Also provides an 18-month transitional housing program for women and children. Case management, counseling services, daycare, and parenting skills training are provided.
San Diego Rescue Mission – Women and Children’s Center
Provides a 12-month residential recovery program for women and children up to 12 years of age. Services include Christian-based substance abuse rehabilitation, education and GED tutoring, family and spiritual counseling, vocational and career development, parenting classes, anger management, life skills training, health and nutrition, child support, and child development mutual support groups.

Lifeline offers a 52-week court and Community Services Bureau (CSB) approved intervention program for male and female perpetrators of domestic violence. Groups are available in English and Spanish. Clients must pay a fee for each group session. Please call for an appointment.

Provides short-term and transitional housing to male and female survivors of domestic violence and their children. Average short-term stay is 60 to 90 days. Long-term stay is month-to-month with a maximum stay of 24 months. Services include case management, counseling, support groups, community advocacy, assistance obtaining temporary restraining orders, independent living skills building, emergency food and clothing, and assistance finding stable housing.
